A message about confronting frustration. Scripture references: Numbers 9:15-23, 11:1-6 & 11:31-35.
- The Possibility of Frustration.
- Sometimes God's ways seem to ignore our concerns.
- The way we handle trials can either mature us or sideline us.
- We need to remember Who's in charge. Come to terms with His authority.
- The Struggle of Frustration.
- Job 13:15 - Job had a demanding spirit.
- God looks for petition and humility, not a want to control.
- Circumstances bring us to a place where God can move us to trust.
- A test is the length of time that we suffer.
- The Fruit of Frustration.
- Sin in the heart brings a demanding nature. This is driven by pride.
- We can be blinded to our pride.
- Rebellion against authority is a fruit.
- We need to grow in maturity.
- Maturity and trust demand nothing.
- Remember how much God loves us. Position yourself in this love. Stay humble and be submissive.
- Matthew 26:39 Jesus wrestled in the Garden before He was crucified, but remained submissive.
- Ask God to show you the Lordship of Jesus.
- God is concerned with maturity, not your happiness.
- Trust Him when you're tired and He calls you to move.
- Trust Him when you're eager to serve and He says to wait.
- When frustration comes, remember Jesus' example, "Not what I will, but what You will."
